The 1st chard wheelers are based in south somerset and are drawn from a wide area but mainly chard,ilminster,crewkerne and axminster.Also the surrounding areas of somerset,devon and dorset.We are a welcoming club,whether your interest are cycle racing,sportive and challenge events,touring or just socialising on a bike.We even have members interested in classic bikes.We want our members of whatever ability to enjoy their cycling,the age of membership ranges from six to seventy and we have strict rule that we will not leave anyone behind.
We are also a go ahead club promoting a series of races and social events throughout the year and run a variety of sunday morning club runs to suit all abilities.We are currently the only club in the area to promote the Go ride sessions to encourage,coach and advise young riders.
