Hi all, as I am getting interested again in training after 34years, I have started doing a bit of reading .Pehaps should spend more time on my bike!!
.Have a look at this debate
http://autobus.cyclingnews.com/fitness/?id=strengthstern Interesting that in the reply, she had done a trial where the group who did strength training on the turbo trainer did better than the group who just went out for their usual thrash
Although the time trial was also in the lab.....and they all agree the best training for a sport is doing the sport, perhaps that goes for turbo training v road cycling!!!
anyway, going to sit on the turbo now (:
PS great sunday ride again , thanks.Perhaps we should clearly define the A and B groups before we set off.
I did also spot the superstar group out on a late ride
anybody got a spare pair of breaks shimano shifters or narrow style handlebars, or a front mech, as decided to build up that specialised they had in wheels, for susie..happy to pay
what makes you think I was angry
I did check the guestbook before I left
actually it was a stunningly beautiful and sunny ride, and no ice on the main roads, so I soon calmed down
see you tommorrow (:
